The Big 29!
Happy 29th Birthday to My Sweetheart!
This is the age you get to stay at forever!
This is the age you get to stay at forever!
We had a fun and fabulous birthday celebration for my sweetheart! It started out with breakfast in bed, opening presents, a lunch date at Chili's, followed by a wonderful birthday nap, and Mark's special birthday dinner - sweet and sour chicken, rice, corn, and fruit. The day wrapped up with birthday cake and family time! We had so much fun! I feel so blessed to be married to this amazing man! I just love everything about him and feel so lucky to be known as Mrs. Taylor :) Happy Birthday Babe! I love you!

Wiener Pigs!
Wiener pig = a pig that has been wiened from it's mother's milk. I felt like my students needed to learn some farm lingo, so we had this conversation before seeing the pigs. Oh the giggles and smiles that came from their faces when they heard the word "wiener" :)

Giddy Up - Ride em' Beckam! What a fun day in Mrs. Taylor's classroom! My mom and dad are the sweetest! They brought two pigs to my classroom for my students to see and for Beck to play with. We had so much fun and it was definitely the highlight of everyone's week! Thanks Mom and Dad! You guys are great!
My cute mom!
He loved being in the pen with the pigs! My dad put him inside and he didn't want to get out. My favorite part is when he would pat the pigs and my students would laugh; he totally knew that he was the coolest kid and would continue to do it, because he loved their reaction!

My Dad really is my hero! He has worked so hard to provide for us and has so many talents. One of his many is his word working skills. He constructed this pen so he could save on gas and bring the pigs up in the back of his truck. We love you Farmer Brown :)
He is a celebrity in my classroom! My students absolutely LOVE him!

Hanging out with the big kids!
I love my sweetie pie! Mark, you are such a good sport and are always willing to support me in all that I do. Thank you for being so patient, kind, and positive! I feel lucky everyday to be married to YOU!

Lately...
The DUCKS! Oh, how he loves the ducks! He would probably spend all of his time there if we let him. I love his excitement for life! This little guy has the best facial expressions.

He usually can't decide if he should eat the bread or feed it to the ducks or fish. Usually more goes in his mouth than his friends in the water.

Our morning routine... eating breakfast with his mommy!
He is such a tease! I can't believe he is only two, but knows just what to do to tease everyone around him. He learned from the best (his daddy!)
This smile melts my heart!
He pushes his chair over to the sink 20 times a day! He LOVES to help mom and dad and do EXACTLY what we are doing. I love this stage he is in. Although, at times it gets a little exhausting, it is so much fun!
He was sporting the coolest outfit today!

I am SO EXCITED to spend time with this little guy this summer! I miss him and his daddy so much everyday. They are the light of my life and so much fun! I feel like everyday spent with the two of them is a piece of heaven on earth.

It Happened!
I have been a little worried about this day for a while... Beck fell out of his crib during his nap. My heart skipped a beat when I heard the big "thump" upstairs and I ran as fast as I could. Bless his sweet little heart he was just about to open the door through all of his tears when I walked in and picked him up. His heart was racing and he was pretty shook up by it, so now I am hoping that it scared him enough that he won't do it again. I am not ready to have him getting in and out of his toddler bed quite yet.
Oh how we love our little rascal... never a dull moment!

I Don't Want to Forget...
the way he says color - "cudder"
tractor - "tatoor"
juice - "joooce"
love you - "tuv too"
thank you - "tank too"
please - "peese"
he calls himself - "daddy"
yellow - "lellow"
if he wants more he says.... "uhhhh dis"
he loves to copycat everything we do and is willing to try and say anything we ask him to
he truly is the sweetest, happiest, fun loving, full of personality, excited, mischievous little boy and I am so lucky to be his mom!
He loves to help wash the dishes! Every time he hears the water running he gets a chair from the dining room table and pushes it over to start helping. He LOVES Buzz and would be perfectly content to watch Toy Story 1, 2, or 3 everyday. We now have to spell the work d-u-c-k or he thinks it is time to feed them. He LOVES being outside... I am pretty sure he would live outside if we allowed him. He thinks he is the king of my classroom... and loves coming to visit!
Last week we went to my parents house and he walked right over to my Dad, help up his hands, and said "cows, go!" It was the cutest thing ever... we haven't been to my parents house in over a month and a half and I didn't think he would remember going with my Dad. Boy, was I wrong! He has an amazing memory!
He gets to spend every day with his Daddy and is the luckiest boy in the world! It is so neat to see the bond that they share... he wants to be just like him. Thanks Babe for making the best of our spot in life right now... I am so thankful for your amazing attitude, perseverance, and patience. You AMAZE me!

Our Big Boy!
I feel so grateful to be Beckam's mom! He is truly the light of our lives and we have so much fun together. It is so exciting to watch him discover life each day.
It is so refreshing to see him discover and enjoy the most simple things in life. Whether he is pointing to the airplane in the sky or being amazed at the workings of a salad spinner, it definitely helps me to stop and smell the roses and re-evaluate what is most important in life. I love the gift of motherhood and marriage and strive everyday to be thankful for what the Lord has so richly blessed me with.

Happy Birthday - 2 Years Old!
It was so fun to watch him open his presents! This was the first present he opened and as soon as he saw what it was he said, "THANK YOU!" What a sweet little boy :)
What a wonderful weekend we had celebrating this little guys birthday! We love birthdays around here and we had so much fun! I decided to take the day off of work on Friday and it was so fun to spend the day with my sweet little family. We got our haircuts, relaxed, and took Beck to his very first movie - Tangled! He did so good and was mesmerized through the first half of it... after that he was ready to move and didn't want to be sitting down. We met Grandma and Grandpa Taylor at the Capital Theater in Brigham City and it was such a cute theater.
When we left the theater it was the worst snow storm ever! Mark did an amazing job navigating Sardine Canyon, but I was scared to death. We saw one car heading the opposite direction in our lane of traffic and another car clear off the side of the road. I was SO HAPPY to get safely home to our nice warm house.
Friday night we stayed up late decorating the house for his birthday and making his Taylormade cake. What can we say... we love this little rascal.
Saturday morning I made Beck his favorite breakfast - sticky buns! Then we opened presents and Mark plowed the 2 feet of snow that we got the night before.
We took him to lunch at Juniper Inn Take Out, and when we came back outside we found our Jeep had a flat tire. Mark changed it to the spare - lickety split! I am so thankful for my sweetheart who is so capable in taking care of us during tricky situations.
We spent the evening with family and had so much fun! My parents came up along with my sister and brother. Mark's parents came and Mark's brother and his family too!
We are so blessed to have such a healthy and happy 2 year old! We LOVE you Beckam! Thanks for filling our lives with so much excitement, happiness, laughter, and meaning.
