Paxton J. Taylor

What a joyous day!  We checked into the hospital at 5:30 a.m., let's just say that we didn't do much sleeping that night.  I was so full of nerves... excited, anxious, hopeful, nervous!  One last belly shot before I got ready for the big moment!
Just hanging out until they took us into the operating room.  One thing I love about the hospital is their unlimited supply of warm blankets!
We had to take pictures of the beautiful sunrise.  Heavenly Father blessed us with a beautiful day to welcome our beautiful baby!

He's HERE!  Paxton J. Taylor was born at 7:56 a.m. on August 13th.  He weighed 8 pounds 9 ounces and was 19 1/2 inches long.  He has lots of brown hair and is the sweetest thing ever!

Oh how I love this sweet face!  He is truly the best baby and has brought so much joy, happiness, and a special spirit to our home.  We love you Pax and are so glad you made it here safe and sound!
Paxton meeting his big brother for the first time.  Beckam was so excited to meet his little brother and hold him.  I am so in love with these three boys of mine!  Beckam is such a sweet brother and is so helpful with Paxton.  He gives him his binky when he is sad, asks to hold him all of the time, tries to feed him, puts blankets on him to keep him warm, and has been so kind and loving.  What a sweet experience watching him fulfill his new role!

This will forever be one of my favorite pictures!  Love it!
Paxton just hours old... we love him so much!

Oh gosh!  I still can't believe how much fluid they pump into you.  I thought my fingers and toes were going to burst!  Don't mind my swollen face, I just had to post this sweet picture of me and my boys :)
Precious!

I LOVE this picture!  I am truly the luckiest girl to be married to such an amazing man!  Mark is truly the best thing that has ever happened to me!  He is such a wonderful father and takes such good care of his boys.  We took a picture of him with Beck when Beck was brand new and now we have one with Paxton too.  Melts.my.heart!
We made this special day a birthday celebration and exchanged gifts between the boys.  This is Beckam opening his gift from Paxton - a t-ball set.  This was a great way for Beckam to feel like he was a part of all the excitement.
Beckam was trying to figure out who Paxton was and what this all meant to him... so cute!

Our first family picture as a family of four!
Me and my boys!
Paxton's first bath... he doesn't really love baths.

Oh how I love this sweet face!

Overall everything went really well with Paxton's delivery.  Unfortunately, we had the worst anesthesiologist and we will NOT have him again!  As I anticipated the c-section I was not looking forward to getting the spinal block and it went okay, but then as the numbing started to work I was actually numb up through my shoulders.  I initially didn't think it would be that big of a deal, but then I was having a lot of trouble breathing.  I felt like I couldn't catch my breath, but the anesthesiologist insisted that I was fine and as long as I could talk everything was okay.  I had a cold prior to going into delivery so then the congestion started to pool in the back of my throat and I felt like I was choking.  After asking three times if he would suction my mouth he finally did and still insisted that I was fine.  At this point it was really hard for me to speak and I was so scared!  It felt like there was a 1,000 pound weight on my chest and I thought I was being crushed.  As I tried to gasp for air the room started spinning and I saw flashes of black and white.  Luckily, I didn't pass out and everything turned out okay, but it was definitely a scary few moments.  My OB said that my situation happens, but it isn't very common, I really hope it doesn't happen on our next baby... it was a rough 10 minutes!

Although the c-section was a little tricky I am just so thankful that Paxton is here and healthy!  He is truly the sweetest little baby and I am so grateful he is a part of our family!  My love for my sweet boys has grown leaps and bounds and I am in awe at the love that our Heavenly Father has for us.  What a blessing and honor to welcome one of His sweet spirits in our home!

So happy for all you guys! Glad everything ended up well. After Hazel's c-section (which honestly was one of the worst experiences I have ever had!) I was real wary about what Jeffrey's c-section would be like, but his was the best one I have had! So there's hope for you. :)

Congrats again! I love that you guys exchange presents between the boys. We did that when kamdyn was born and again with Sophie and it makes little kids who are struggling happier because they get some love and attention too!

Wow! What a day! Glad everything went ok. I had that same breathing situation, I felt like my lungs were being crushed and they told me that I was fine...but I was the one laying there who couldn't breathe! Very scary!

Congrats to your cute little family!
