Pumpkin Walk Project

Mark is AMAZING and a celebrity among my students. For one of his senior projects his class was in charge of getting the community more involved with Homecoming week. Our class had the opportunity to participate in the Pumpkin Walk (thanks to Mark) and we painted 11 red pumpkins (Fresno's football team) and 11 blue pumpkins (USU's football team), along with three refs and three coaches.

Big Blue, the USU cheerleaders, and some USU athletes came to our class and helped the students paint the pumpkins. It was honestly the best day of their lives and they had so much fun! Big Blue and the cheerleaders led my class in some cheers and we had one for them as well. Thanks Mark for making third grade the best year ever for these kids. You are the GREATEST!

Oh how fun! That is TOTALLY a kid's dream come true! Right now, at Greenville we are doing a contest to collect cans. Whatever class gets the most gets big blue and some of the athletes to come by and visit... the kids are SOOOOOO excited and want it so bad... plus they have brought in more cans then i could ever imagine!
