We had a blast with Beck at Lagoon! Seeing life through the eyes of your child is so exciting and fun! He was beyond excited when we pulled up! He thought that we had for sure brought him to Disneyland! His energy level and bravery amaze me! We went on every roller coaster we could, and when we went to check the height for Wicked (because Beck was begging to go) he was distraught to find out he was too short. We had such a wonderful time, and we were thankful to Aunt Chelsee for watching Pax!
His first ride :)
This cute little gal could have had her own helicopter, but opted for the seat next to Beck! I better watch out he is going to be a heart breaker!
Going for a sweet ride!
Oh how I love these two! We had quite the humbling and faith building experience at Lagoon. Before we entered the park we realized we didn't have Mark's credit card and we were sick about it. We retraced our steps, searched our pockets, and said lots of prayers, and thankfully an honest person turned it in! I am so thankful for honest people.
We went into the park and had a fabulous time! We were going on one more ride before we left and realized that once again we didn't have our ziploc bag that held Mark's phone, debit cards, credit card, and our drivers licenses (we grabbed our debit cards when searching for our credit card the first time). We were sick and so distraught realizing we had to try and find them in such a huge park with so many people. Once again we retraced our steps, searched everywhere we could think of, and lots and lots of prayers! We registered with the lost and found, talked to management, and used the find my iPhone app to hopefully find Mark's phone and in turn our cards. Well, technology is amazing and we were able to walk almost directly to his phone, see on the map that someone had picked it up and it was moving, and practically run into the ride attendant who had retrieved it near the new tea cup ride. What a wonderful blessing and miracle! We sat down on a park bench with Beck right there in the middle of Lagoon and poured our hearts out in thanksgiving for helping us find the phone and cards. I am so thankful for the power of prayer and for our Heavenly Father and is awareness of each of us. What a wonderful way to teach all three is us the power of prayer!
