Snowmobiling in Star Valley!

It has been a Brown family tradition over the past few years to take a trip to Star Valley and go snowmobiling over Presidents Day weekend. What a great tradition! We had so much fun! We took off Thursday night and saw this beautiful sunset on our way.

Granite Hot Springs is just outside of Jackson Hole, WY and it is so much fun. We snowmobile into this natural hot spring and pack our swimming gear. We change into our swimsuits in this little hut and then jump into a giant hot tub with snow surrounding us on all sides.

Just below the hot spring are Granite Falls! It is a beautiful waterfall and a great place for a picture...

The Box Y is a ranch located up the Greys River Trail outside of Alpine, WY. We drove our snowmobiles 35 miles into the Box Y, which has a main cabin and then small cabins around it that you can stay in during the winter or summer months. We just stopped by for some hot chocolate to warm us up!

This was our favorite part of the trip. On our way out from the Box Y we drove off the main groomed trail and found a great spot for a campfire. We found some green needles and put them down and then started our very own campfire right on top of 4-5 feet of snow. For an appetizer we chilled cocktail shrimp in the snow and dipped them in cocktail sauce. Then we brought in cans of soup and put them right on the fire to warm up. It was so much fun and definitely hit the spot! What fun memories we made with our family.

My cute mom all bundled up!

One of my very favorite parts of our trip was spending time with our nieces and nephew. This little gal is an angel and just decided to cuddle up next to me one night and fall asleep. She is so dang cute!

That looks like so much fun. I really want to have a cabin someday.... a long way away I know... but someday.
